Schalke boss Felix Magath is facing a headache for finding a quality midfielder to pair Annan to revive his team’s wretched run in the Bundesliga.
The Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan has already established himself in the first team after joining in the January transfer window from Norwegian side Rosenborg.
But Magath has now set his sights on Saint Etienne’s 23-year-old midfielder Blaise Matuidi to strengthen his midfield.
