King Faisal Chief Executive Vincent-Sowah Odotei is backing Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi to win the Caf executive position.

Odotei who is the fierce critic of the management style of Nyantakyi believes the FA boss has the credentials to make a massive impact when elected into the top post at the Confederation of African Football.

”Indeed I may have my own professional differences with him but I support him and wish him to achieve the ultimate. It’s imperative that if a Ghanaian applies for any post at any level, we must all give him our support and wish him well,” Odotei told Happy FM.

Odotei has confirmed he will contest the Ghana FA boss at next year’s election.

Nyantakyi will be competing against representatives from Benin, Niger and Togo for a single slot.

The elections will take place at the Caf 33rd Ordinary General Assembly on 23 February, 2011 in Khartoum, Sudan, prior to the CHAN final.
