    Oba Dapo Tejuosho

The home of His Royal Highness, Oba Dapo Tejuosho, the Osile of Oke-Ona, Abeokuta is booming and bubbly with joy as the entire household is thickly involved with planning and plottingĀ  what might be one of the biggest society events of the year.
The event is the 73rd birthday of the royal father and wedding between his son, Prince Adebayo Tejuosho and his bride, Faderinola Modupe Fakoya which comes up on Saturday, February 19, 2011.
If you run into any high-class gathering in Abeokuta the gist on the lips of the people is the wedding and the birthday which many believe will raise the dust again about the standard of society weddings in the country.
Already, the couple, Prince Adebayo and his beau, have been globetrotting from one European capital to the other to pick their apparels for the day. The Oloris, Omolara, Yetunde and Olabisi have been busy sorting out the ā€˜Aso-Ebi’ and the colour schemes for the day which is said to be a touch of ā€˜Magenta and Torquoise Blue’
The venue is Lagos City Hall, Catholic Mission Street, Lagos Island where the engagement and traditional wedding ceremonies will hold between the hours of 8 and 10 in the morning before the bridal-train moves to Our Saviour’s Church for solemnisation of matrimonial rites between the couple. This is expected to run till noon when the quests are expected back at the City Hall for the wedding and birthday receptions.
