The Northern regional branch of the opposition New Patriotic Party says it has resolved all differences that sparked agitations within its ranks.
The party experienced turmoil this week when some youth seized party vehicles alleged to be in private hands and threatened mayhem against each other.
Leadership of the party at a meeting attended by NPP’s flag bearer Nana Akufo-Addo and factions in the dispute, however managed to settle the differences. Northern regional secretary of the party Dr. Clliford Braimah told Joy News all factions have agreed to channel their energy to canvas for votes to unseat the NDC government.
He said the factions had been reminded that tearing at each other bode no good for the party.
Still on NPP, the Chiefs and Elders of Oguaa Traditional Council have accepted pleas made by the party and have decided to lay to rest the matters arising out of P.C Appiah Ofori’s utterances.
Osabarima Kwasi Atta II, the Omanhene of the Oguaa Traditional Area told Joy News the resolution re-establishes the cordial relationship between the chiefs and the opposition party.
