The Executive Committee of the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) under the chairmanship of President Issa Hayatou met on Saturday in Lubumbashi, DR Congo, to decide on the hosts for the 2015 and 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and other competitions.
    a) After deliberations and presentations by the two bidding countries, it was decided that Morocco will host the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and South Africa, the 2017 edition.
The race for the hosting rights of the 30th and 31st editions of the continental showpiece football event was reduced to a two-nation affair following the withdrawal of DR Congo after the September 30, 2010 deadline.
Both Morocco and South Africa have previously hosted the event in 1988 and 1996 respectively, whilst Gabon and Equatorial Guinea will jointly host the 2012 edition and Libya in 2013.
    b) Rwanda will host 2016 edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN)
    c) Morocco will host the 2013 edition of the CAF U-17 Championship.
