Ghana’s home-based national team will play Kenyan Premier League side Tusker FC in a test match on Monday afternoon ahead of next month’s CHAN tournament.
The local Black Stars have been in Kenya since last Friday and are fining tune for the tournament which begins on 4 February in Sudan.
The team will rest on Tuesday before playing another friendly match on Wednesday.
Ghana have planned to stay in the East African country for 12 days before leaving for a tough test in Group B against South Africa, Niger and Zimbabwe.
”In the morning, the weather is very cold and hot in the evening. This is similar to what prevails in Sudan so it’s good for our conditioning,” Interim management member George Afriyie said from their Nairobi-base.
