English Premier League giants Arsenal are keeping tabs on young Ghana full-back Daniel Opare who currently plies his trade in Belgium with Standard Liege.
Sport.co.uk quoted a ‘’source” as saying: ”Yes. He is a great player. He is a right defender and can play right-midfield, he is very fast
”They call him the ”flying Ghanaian. I don’t know if he is aware of the interest, as I have not spoken to him in the last two weeks. But he is a great player.”
The clubs that are also apparently monitoring the youngster are said to be Spurs, Chelsea and United – that is definitely no shortage of suitors!
Arsenal do have a bit of a problem with depth a right-back with Emmanuel Eboue only a make-shift full-back who’s weaknesses have been exposed many times this season.
Bakary Sagna is the first choice and probably the best right back in the Premier League right now, but he cannot play in every game.
