A second year student of the Ghanatta College of Art and Design met his untimely death last Friday after he was stabbed by one Adotel during an argument.
Lordmill Nene Debra, 24, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Tema General Hospital. Adotei and his alleged accomplice, identified as Enzi-Mamba are on the run. Narrating the incident to the Times newspaper yesterday, Chief Inspector Olivia Turkson, Tema Regional Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), said Debra, together with some friends went to play football on the “Agric Park” located between Communities 2 and 5 in Tema. Debra who was in charge of selecting players for his team was alleged to have omitted the name of Enzi-Mamba and that resulted in an argument between the two of them.
This degenerated into a scuffle but their colleagues separated them. The PRO said Enzi-Mamba left the field of play amidst threats and emerged later from a nearby bush accompanied by Adotei who confronted Debra over why he eliminated Enzi-Mamba’s name from the list.
Another argument ensued between the two and according to Chief Inspector Turkson, Adotei pulled a knife and stabbed Debrah on the left side of his chest and fled. The police have appealed to the public to volunteer information to help arrest the runaway suspect. The deceased has been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue for autopsy. His father, Mr. David Teye Debrah, told the Times newspaper his son had planned to go to school on Monday after school had reopened last Wednesday. He said as usual, Lordmill went to play football with his friends when the unexpected happened.
