Ukrainian giants Dnipro Dnipropetrowsk are interested in signing Ghanaian right-back Samuel Inkoom from Swiss side Basel.
Coach Juande Ramos has been impressed with the speedy youngster’s outing in the Uefa Champions League this season.
Dnipro won the league in the country last season but their performance in the preliminary stage of the Champions League was nothing to write home about.
The former Tottenham boss joined the Ukrainian side late last year and has started rebuilding the squad as he eyes ahead of nextseason.
According to the Swiss press, Dnipro under the orders of Ramos have started talks with Basel over a move for Inkoom.
Ramos is keen on the Ghanaian player to boost his squad to help them perform well in the Champions League next term.
The promise of signing other top players to Dnipro will convince Inkoom to leave Basel for the Ukrainian league.
Inkoom joined Basel in April 2009 and has been regular player for the club since moving from local side Asante Kotoko.
