DEPUTY KUMASI Asante Kotoko trainer, Coach Sabuto has disclosed that the physical condition of his players is nothing to write home about. Kotoko’s technical team, he said, observed this during the club’s recent league duels.
“The condition of the players is a major problem now,” the Kotoko coach observed in a chat. Coach Sabuto added that cohesion was also lacking in Kotoko’s play and it needs immediate attention.
Kotoko’s technical bench, he said, has started working on the condition of the players and cohesion in the team. The team poached about 14 players to beef up its existing squad when the second window for registration was opened recently.
Coach Sabuto said the influx of the new players has contributed to the lack of cohesion in Kotoko’s play. He was optimistic that very soon the new and old players would blend perfectly to make Kotoko fearsome once again.
