Some victims of road accidents who have come together to form an association are advocating a review of the way road safety campaigns are conducted.

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Alhaji Issah Tetteh he said while many Ghanaians were concerned about the rampant accidents, some drivers remained “recalcitrant. Sometimes they forget that they are carrying their own lives in the car.”
He was unhappy that although their untiring efforts before the Christmas celebrations had yielded dividends as few accidents were recorded, the gains had been undone by Tuesday’s accident involving the two Yutong buses.
