    Ghana Under-20 head coach Orlando Wellington has rolled up his sleeves for the difficult assignment awaiting him at this year’s African Youth Championship in Libya.
    The Berekum Chelsea trainer must lead the defending champions from “The Group of Death” which includes Nigeria, Cameroon and Gambia.
    Wellington, an assistant of the 2009 winning team, knows their Group opponents will not be pushovers but he is braced for the test ahead.
    “These are credible sides and have seasoned players but it is all part of the challenge and I’m focused to justify myself. The work has begun and I must to meet the standard set by the previous team. I’m ready for this crucial assignment in my career,” Wellington told GHANAsoccernet.com
    Ghana, to be based in Benghazi will play Nigeria in their opener on 19 March before matches against Cameroon and Gambia.
    The semi-finalists at the African Championship will qualify for the World Youth Championship to be played in Columbia this July.
