NOLLYWOOD Divas Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jolade Ekeinde set the red carpet ablaze at the premiere of new movie Ije- The Journey.
Omotola stepped out in a red tafetta and lace evening gown which was beautifully set off with black and silver accessories while Genevieve arrived in an absolutely chic, short peach, one armed, chiffon ensemble which was beautifull highlighted by a pair of black platform pumps and a black clutch.
The film which was shot on the 33mm format by Nigerian Film Maker Chineze Anyaene, founder of Xandria Productions, had international starts Jeff Swarthout, Odalys Garcia, and Ulrich Que, alongside Nollywood ace Clem Ohameze will also be premiered in the UK, United States and other European countries between now and next year. The film had already made a round of the film festivals and had garnered nominations and awards in Excellence in Filmmaking, Best Editing and nominations include Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Feature Film and Best Feature Film Screenplay. From monitored reports this morning it was gathered that the film which is presently showing at the SilverBird Galleria Genesis Deluxe Cinemas in Lagos, Port-Harcourt or Abuja has broken all box office records.
