The GSE All-Share Index, the main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange, went up by 34.08 points to close at 5,626.78 points buoyed by gains in four equities.
Change for the year closed the session at 0.98 per cent.
On the broader market, there were five price changes – four gainers and a loser.
EBG gained GHÃ‚Â¢0.10 at GHÃ‚Â¢3.10; Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited was up by GHÃ‚Â¢0.01 at GHÃ‚Â¢1.34; Fan Milk Ghana Limited went up GHÃ‚Â¢0.10 at GHÃ‚Â¢6.80; and Standard Chartered Bank advanced by GHÃ‚Â¢0.21 at GHÃ‚Â¢30.66.
The only loser for the session was Produce Buying Company PBC, which lost GHÃ‚Â¢0.01 at GHÃ‚Â¢0.18.
Shares that changed hands during the session stood at 405,932.
Market capitalisation closed the session at GHÃ‚Â¢15,986.21 million.
