So far, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa has stood out as a delegate with quick solutions to problems. Take, for instance, the day there was not enough food for delegates, she promptly made up her mind to fend for herself and engaged the service of a cook.
Strikingly, Mama Bakassi as she is fondly called is not selfish; she flaunts the product of her creative thinking for all to see and, maybe, learn from. On Monday, she brought the cook to the conference centre. The cook did not serve only her, but some of her friends also.
Since then, Ita-Giwa has remained distinguished, as no other delegate has been able to match her prowess, not even the traditional rulers and others, who seldom eat publicly.
