Super Eagles striker Ike Uche has commiserated with the victims and family members of those caught up the Abuja bombing on Monday.

The Spain-based player passed his message through his Twitter handle.

He wrote, “I would like to express the deep sadness I feel because of the victims in the terrorist attack that happened yesterday in my country.

“I want to send a big hug to their families and my sympathy.”

Over 89 people were killed in the early morning bomb blast at the Nyanya Park area.

Uche has not played for Nigeria since winning the African cup with Eagles in South Africa in February 2013.
