There were strong indications yesterday that Capital Oil and Gas boss, Ifeanyi Ubah, has dumped the Labour Party, LP, for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Ubah, who was the LP gubernatorial candidate in the Anambra State governorship election last November, was sighted at the Wadata Plaza national headquarters of PDP discussing with the governorship candidate of the party in the June 21 Ekiti governorship elections, Ayo Fayose.
He was also seen engaged in what looked like serious discussions with the PDP national publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh.
Thereafter, Ubah came to the National Executive Committee, NEC hall where he had brief discussions with some members of the National Working Committee, NWC.
He later went to Metuh’s office with the Anambra PDP chairman, Chief Ken Emeakayi to wait for the PDP spokesperson, who was at the NEC hall coordinating the presentation of certificate of return to Fayose by the party’s national chairman, Alhaji Adamu Muazu.
