The Business Process Analyst will be an integral part of the Global Systems Operations(GSO) Reporting and Analytics team.  This position requires a self-starter with a strong technical and analytical background and a passion for assessing key business processes through collaboration with internal business partners.The position holder will be responsible for evaluating,organizing, modeling and presenting complex data sets with the goal of identifying gaps to best practices, recommending business process improvements,developing actionable insights and supporting recommendations to improve end customer satisfaction. In depth technical experience with BI tools (e.g. OBIEE, Endeca) and knowledge of the Services business are required. This position will also drive technology and infrastructure improvements with our partner IT organizations.

Responsible for the delivery of Product Specifications Documents to supplier partner(s) or delivery of process specifications to meet business specifications.
Detailed Description
May be done in partnership with business partner(s) or via guidance to business partner(s) for execution. Defines system specifications needed to roll out flexible business models. Responsible for understanding business objectives. Performs process or functional an*l identifies gaps compared to specifications confers and/or drives issues with management for resolution and overall ensures the fulfillment of business specifications. Responsible for day-to-day engagement with business and/or process subject matter experts. Advises and consults with business teams prioritizing allocation of people resources addressing project team problems ensuring that all team deliverables are met and developing and presenting proposals of project plan and getting agreement from appropriate stakeholders. Understands and applies theories to policies and operating environment needed to effectively and efficiently complete assignments.
Job Requirements
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred.
Additional Details
Major Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement BI solutions and interface with the internal IT organizations to optimize resources and solutions availability
  • Manage the data integrity, analysis and reporting for Global Systems Support identified key metrics.
  • Assess process performance using statistical and analytical methods
  • Prepare Business Process Efficiency reports by collecting, interpreting, analyzing, and summarizing data; make recommendations to management and key stakeholders
  • Assist Business Process Improvement Project teams to improve processes and resolve customer pain points
  • As needed, support efforts to improve data accuracy and merge databases
  • Conduct basic quantitative analysis to identify highest priority areas
  • Drive key initiatives globally, supporting as requested

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Finance or Mathematics

 Experience and Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+years in business process research and analysis
  • 5+years of work experience in BI technology and related business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business process and drive process improvement
  • Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and manage expectations in an environment of multiple stakeholders
  • Effective interpersonal and group facilitation skills, promoting teamwork and collaborative alliances
  • Strong analytical skills, data collection, and reporting skills
  • Time management skills are critical
  • Excellent technical knowledge of BI tools (including OBIEE and Endeca), SQL and Database technology
  • Experience with data modeling and data warehouse design and applications
  • Knowledge of the Services business, preferably Hardware Support (Technical Support,Dispatching, Field Operations, Logistics)
  • Excellent MS Office PC skills
