Less than 24 hours after a bomb exploded in Nyanya, a suburb of Abuja, killing no less than 10 people, Muslims in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, on Friday came together to offer special prayers for the victims of the tragic incident.
According to VANGUARD online, the Muslims also prayed for the quick recovery of the survivors when they attended Juma’at prayers at the Abdullahi Dantata Mosque.
Alhaji Muhammed Abdullahi, the Chief Imam of the Mosque, urged the Islamic worshippers to offer special prayers for peace and unity so that the problems facing the country would be solved.

He advised the worshippers to repent from their sins and rededicate their lives to Allah.
He also urged Muslims to be closer to Allah by saying their five daily obligatory prayers as stipulated in the Holy Qur’an.

According to him, Muslims should use the prayer periods to pray for peace, unity and prosperity of the country.
Abdullahi further enjoined Nigerians to contribute in fast tracking the development of the country.
