Adam Kwarasey is in no danger whatsoever of missing the world cup and will return to Black Stars training on Friday in time for Monday’s friendly against South Korea.
Kwarasey has emerged as a strong candidate for first choice goalkeeper at the 2014 world cup after an impressive display against Netherlands over the weekend but limped off in training in Miami complaining of a thigh injury.
But he is fine now and fit to train which should add to the intensity of the competition for the goalkeeper’s shirt.
Kwarasey is locked in what is a straight forward battle with Fatau Dauda for the number one shirt and the right to become only the second Ghanaian goalkeeper after Richard Kingson to play at the world cup.
