Chelsea: Season over for Cech and Terry

After a fairly muscular match, Chelsea managed to snatch a draw in the field of Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night in the semi- finals of the Champions League. But the draw was obtained in pain as the London club has lost two of its best players: goalkeeper Petr Cech and captain John Terry . They should both be unavailable until the end of the season as announced by José Mourinho at the end of the meeting.

It is primarily Petr Cech who got out after falling on the shoulder. David Luiz pushed Raul Garcia on the legs of the Czech goalkeeper who then directly asked to leave the field, giving way to Mark Schwarzer.

“His season is over. Do not ask me technical details but the season is over,’ said the Portuguese manager about his porter .

Late in the game, the same David Luiz also crushed the foot of John Terry who played a few seconds limping before asking calling for replacement. He should be available after a month.

“His season is over unless we reach the final of the Champions League to be held on May 24,” said the Portuguese.
