The Christian Missionary Bilingual School (CMBS) has held its 11 th graduation ceremony under the theme: ‘Educating the Child, a Priceless Legacy’.

The event which was heavily attended by parents and invited guests was held at the forecourt of the school located at Ogbojo, Madina in Accra.

The event was also used to award both teachers and pupils in the categories of best pupils, best behaved student, best teacher, hardworking teacher and overall best pupil.

The Proprietress of the school, Betty Lekunze, said the school was founded in 2004 with the core purpose of providing quality education based on Christian principles and upbringing.

Mrs Lekunze continued that the school had also developed a methodology for English and French language proficiency among its pupils.

She was happy that the commitment of teachers to enforce the various methodologies had led to students in JHS 3 scoring very good grades and placement to schools of their choices.

Mrs Lekunze further paid glowing tribute to the chief of Ogbojo, Nii Obodai Torgbor, for helping the school to acquire land for the construction of the school block.

The chairman for the event, Solomon Acquah, reiterated the importance of education in the development of an individual and nation.

He urged parents to ensure that they enroll their children in the school as well as invest in their education.

Mr Acquah also called on the children to focus on their studies and take advantage of what he described as the favourable learning environment of the school.
