Liberty Professional stormed the Baba Yara Sports, Kumasi on Wednesday to hand King Faisal their first home defeat this season on match day 28 of the First Capital Plus Premier League.
The Scientific Soccer Lads scored on each half of the game to push Kumasi based King Faisal to the relegation zone.
Kennedy Ashia of Black Satellites fame broke the deadlock in the first half, before Abdul Jafaru put the game beyond Faisal’s recovery in the second half of the game.
Liberty have now jumped to the 8th position with 39 points, which is 5 points clear of relegation.
