Vodafone Ghana Foundation has announced Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, as the second community to benefit from its free quality healthcare initiative ‘HealthFest’.
Healthfest will take place on Friday, 23rd May 2014 at the Abyass Park, Ash town and is expected to screen over 700 in and the area.
They will be screen for diabetes, hypertension and many more.
Vodafone Foundation will also have a Gym to encourage healthy lifestyle. The event is in partnership with the National Blood Bank, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and and social marketing company, DKT International.
HealthFest is a year-long nationwide initiative aimed at improved living conditions in densely populated communities.
