IHAV Fundraising PhotoShoot

Accra-Ghana, May 14, 2014 – In just a few days, IHAV will host its 1st Fundraising Photoshoot towards creating an agribusiness revolution with Africa’s youth. This exciting event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the forecourt of Radio xyz in Osu, Accra.

IHAV (I have a Vision) is a non profit organization established to support youth development through capacity building and employment generation. Our focus this year is on agriculture and in the light of this, IHAV will be organizing the 2nd edition of its yearly conference through which we will engage African youth in addressing the issue of sustainability in agriculture and increasing productivity of Africa’s agricultural system through research and innovation in a way that will bring about a process change and trigger an Agribusiness revolution across the continent.

The main purpose of the fundraising is to raise money to organise this very essential conference and also support youth interested in starting up enterprises in agric and related businesses.

At the fundraiser, participants will have the opportunity to take memorable pictures by two of Ghana’s finest photographers and with a few Ghanaian celebrities, and then donate an amount to support our cause.

All pictures taken on the day will be collated to make a video showing the importance of agric to our economy and why the youth should be involved. This will be posted on all media platforms to create awareness and start our revolution.

The Photoshoot will feature movie celebrities Adjetey Annan (Pusher), Bismark Odoi, and Juliet Ibrahim. We will also have star TV personality Nana Aba Anamoah, and models Laurie Frempong, Olivia Lawson and Jackie Turkson. Photographs will be taken by our star photographers Kwame Pocho and Kwaku David, and UNICEF photographer Ekoue Walter.

This is certainly a must-attend event for everyone interested in youth development, youth in agric initiatives, and youth empowerment. We also invite fans of the stars and photographers to come interact and experience their works.

Beyond this event, IHAV Foundation continues to provide platforms like periodic forums, student ambassador programs, and annual conferences for sharing ideas and developing new projects and initiatives geared towards fulfilling societal needs and creating employment.
