Twins Takes Talented Kidz Mantle


Elizabeth and Elisa Agyapoma Dwomoh, 10-year-old twins of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, made history when they were adjudged winners of the TV3 child reality show dubbed ‘Talented Kidz’ on Sunday, April 27, 2014

Elizabeth and Elisa received a cash prize of GH¢ 5000, while the second and fourth place winners received GH¢4000, GH¢3000 and GH¢2000 respectively.

They also received a tablet each and shopping vouchers from sponsors.

The grand finale which was heavily attended by funs of the contestants was held at the National Theatre in Accra.

The Monarchs from Ashaimah won the second place, while Kelvin Bonney and Enoch Damba won the third and fourth places in the race.

The fifth and 10 th place winners also received consolation prizes.

The Twinning in an interview with the DAILY GUIDE said, ‘The success was a divine intervention and we are greatly inspired by our joint performance with the Tagoe Sisters.’

‘Talented Kidz’ was started by TV3 in 2010 as a reality show to provide a platform to help children unearth their talents in the music, creative and performing arts among other talents.

The show was also to serve as a focal point to engage children as well as entertain and inform the public.

Previous winners of the show since its inception are Emmanuel Asiedu, pianist (2010), Maame Esi Awotwe, singing (2011),Malaika Sabi, raps (2012) and Tutu Lapato, raps (2013).
