Ex wife of Ghana defender John Mensah has advised young Ghanaian footballers preparing to enter into marriage to avoid excessive family interference in their marital affairs to preserve the union.
“Young footballers who are coming up should focus in their lives with whatever they want and I will advise them, they shouldn’t let their families come into their marriage too much because most of them allow their families enter it more,” Henrietta told CampioneSport.com.
Henrietta and John Mensah had their divorce petition granted in January this year after the couple after months of a legal battle. Though Henrietta divorced the FC Nitra centre-back after 10-year of marriage on the grounds of infidelity, reports say the couple’s marital problems was fueled by the undue interference of family members.
