We Are Unfazed By NPP’s Actions – NDC

The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has announced that the party is focused on ensuring peace in the country and is unfazed by the actions of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to him, the party is committed to securing “the peace of this country”.

Johnson Asiedu Nketia was speaking at a media briefing shortly after the opposition party’s press conference where it alleged that the President of Republic was conspiring with Election Officers to “falsify election results.”

According to the NDC General Secretary however, “If anybody decides to mess with the peace of this country they will have to contend with the security services of the country. We in the NDC, will not take the law into our own hands. Even if the NPP throws their thugs into the street, we know where to go and whose responsibility it is to keep the peace of Ghana.”

He pointed that,”we [NDC] are very confident in the ability of the security services. No one should fall for the various lies being peddled by on the airwaves, the internet and other places.”
