The National Communication authority has directed Scancom Limited to cease selling and adding new SIM cards onto the MTN Network.
This follows the recent spate of service disruptions on the MTN network experienced by its consumers of mobile services.
According to the NCA despite several engagements with Scancom limited, the network performance on MTN continues to deteriorate.
The NCA says the directive must be observed until further notice.
