Ghana defender Lee Addy has set an audacious target of playing at his third Nations Cup in South Africa 2013.
The 22-year-old has struggled to command a regular call-up under coach Kwesi Appiah.
The Dalian Aerbin left back played in the 2010 and 2012 edition of the continental showpiece but faces a daunting task to make the cut for next year’s edition .
With in-form Harrison Afful, David Addy and Richard Kissi-Boateng in the frame, the former Red Star Belgrade star will find it difficult to break into the team.
But the ex-Berekum Chelsea player is refusing to give up hopes of making the 23-man squad.
“I am thinking of the nation cup because we want to live a legacy of ending the 31-year wait for a trophy,” Addy told Radio XYZ
“We want to win, win and win and that is what the players are thinking about.
“It will be a proud moment for me to be part of the team,”
Addy was a late inclusion in the Black Stars squad that beat Cape Verde 1-0 in an international friendly on November 14.
