Former Radio 1 duo Chris Moyles and Comedy Dave are at war – after Moyles reportedly struck up a close friendship with the ex-wife of his friend.
According to sources the pals are no longer talking to each other and are embroiled in a ‘bitter feud’ after Dave Vitty, 38, discovered his wife Jayne Sharp had become close to loudmouthed DJ Moyles.
Friends of Dave, who met Jayne when she was a runner on the Radio 1 Breakfast show, said he felt betrayed by the pair’s close friendship.

Chris and Dave held separate leaving parties after the Radio 1 Breakfast show ended after ten years with friends meeting Dave at a London pub before moving on to meet Chris, 38, at another.
A radio 1 insider told the Daily Mirror: ‘They were so tight knit but that changed almost overnight after Dave got wind of the friendship.
‘Things deteriorated fast and it was never the same again.’

Dave and Jayne, who have a three-year-old daughter Nicole together, separated after five years in April 2011.
Moyles split from his long-term girlfriend Sophie Waite in September 2010 after he reportedly told her he wasn’t ready for marriage.
Miss Waite was said to be heartbroken.
In a joint statement Dave and Jayne said noone else was involved in their decision to split was amicable.

Jayne, who previously dated Chris Evans, presents a late night TV show Bingo Live.
Rumours circulated that there was a rift between the pair when Dave refused to take part in Chris’ theatre tour.
A source added: ‘To say there is no love lost is an understatement. Dave feels totally betrayed.’
Dave Vitty, Jayne Sharp and Chris Moyles have all been contacted for a comment.
