Ghana can only work under CPP - Parlaimentary Aspirant

Susan Adu-Amankwah

The Convention Peoples Party (CPP) parliamentary candidate for Tema West is calling on Ghanaians to vote out the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) out of power in the December 7 polls.

Susan Adu-Amakwah said the improvement in the quality of life of the masses is the yardstick for measuring a successful government – a measure she says the ruling NDC has failed woefully.

She was speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday.

The ruling party has justified reasons why Ghanaians should retain it in power citing what it says are unprecedented achievements in the various sectors of the economy in its first term.

But Mrs. Adu-Amankwah maintained that the current government has performed abysmally hence should be shown the exit.

According to her, the non-performing NDC government has contributed to the difficult state Ghanaians find themselves.

The CPP youth activist said the supposed Better Ghana Agenda promise only benefit a few followers of the ruling party and not majority of Ghanaians.

She appealed to Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Abu Sakara, a presidential candidate with a proven record and the only person that can deliver Ghana from its present state.

Susan Adu-Amankwah stated that Ghana can only work again under a CPP government which is tried and tested to deliver on all its promises.

In a rebuttal, the Deputy Head of Corporate Affairs at the National Health Insurance Authority, Ametor Kwame, a discussant on the programme disagreed with the CPP woman.

He indicated that the NDC is the best thing that could happen to Ghana after the erstwhile Kufuor administration mismanaged the economy.

Ametor Kwame said government in three and half years has improved the country economy hence should be allowed to advanced the Better Ghana Agenda.
