Daniel Craig lands tender kiss on the lips of Rachel Weisz as he is named British Artist of the Year

It is the dream of many women around the world to be given a tender kiss from James Bond.

However, that was reality for Rachel Weisz as her husband Daniel Craig planted a loving kiss on her lips at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, on Wednesday night.

The British couple were attending the 2012 BAFTA Britannia Awards, where Daniel, 44, received the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year at the BBC America sponsored event.

Rachel, 42, was seated at a table next to her world famous husband as he gazed at his beautiful wife with one arm around her.

Without hesitation Craig leaned in and kissed his leading lady proving that he really was for her eyes only.

Given the extremely smooth way that Daniel was dressed, one would have expected Rachel to be all over him instead.

And the winner is: Daniel picked up the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year

The Skyfall actor mimicked his famous onscreen persona and wore a simple black tuxedo with a white shirt and black bow tie.

Rachel looked extremely lady like in a black ensemble and wore her long brunette locks down over her shoulders.

After Daniel picked up his award he was congratulated director and legend Stephen Spielberg as well as Oscar winner Daniel Day-Lewis, who also scooped one of the gongs.

The evening became somewhat of a Skyfall reunion as many of the cast were also in attendance to see Daniel pick up his accolade.

Skyfall director Sam Mendes, 47, and co-star Berenice Marlohe were there to give him a hearty round of applause when he went up to receive the trinket.

While Berenice, 33, looked sensational in her glitzy gold floor length gown, but her co-star Naomie Harris, 36, also wowed with her style.

Naomie wore a sleeveless black dress which featured a sheer lower half and thick silk lining.

The Bond theme was completed when Goldeneye actor Alan Cumming arrived in a red suit to host the evening.
