Goal : Lionel Messi believes that the standard of quality in matches between Barcelona and Real Madrid improves every time they play.
The Argentine and Cristiano Ronaldo grabbed a double each in Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Camp Nou and the 25-year-old forward thinks that the increasing regularity of their encounters only serves to improve both sides.
“We [have] played so often that we know [each other] by heart,” Messi told Fox Sports Radio del Plata. “It becomes more and more difficult for the two teams, that is why the matches are better.
