Minister Wishes Stars Well

Clement Kofi Humado

The Minister for Youth and Sports (MoYS), Hon. Clement Kofi Humado has on behalf of Government and the good people of Ghana sent a goodwill message to the Senior National Football team, the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of their 2014 World Cup qualifier against the Crocodiles of Lesotho on Friday June 1, 2012 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

In the message to the team, the Hon. Minister said the Black Stars must win their first match to put them in a better position of qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.

“I am very confident the Stars will put up a spirited performance and put smiles back on the faces of Ghanaians after the not so impressive outing at the AFCON 2012,” the Minister said.

The Hon. Minister also thanked the Technical and Management teams of the Black Stars for their hard work and tasked them to ensure that the team is well prepared before Friday’s match.

Finally, he took the opportunity to kindly appeal to every Ghanaian to remember the Black Stars in prayers, “as we have always done and come in their numbers to support the team at the Baba Yara Stadium”.
