The team has been camping in Dar es Salaam since last month under close supervision of coach Ferick Kalengela for the championship, which will involve the crème of young swimmers in the East African region.

“I am optimistic our team will make an impact in the championship. The youngsters constituting the team are among those who stole the show during the national championship last weekend,” she said.
