Here\u2019s How Much Racist Adam Catzavelos Has To Pay For Using The k-word! <\/p>\n

Adam Catzavelos has reached a R150k settlement agreement with the Human Rights Commission which he has to pay over 30 months. He will pay R5k a month and he has been ordered to do 160 hours of community service over six months at a Soweto Foundation.<\/p>\n

Adam read out an apology to South Africans for his racist remarks saying he feels disgusted, horrified and ashamed of his behaviour. \u00a0\u201cI now, more than ever, in the course of having to confront and take responsibility for my actions, which has forced me to consider deeply issues such as dignity and humanity, am acutely aware of how profoundly dehumanizing and hurtful it must be for black South Africans to be referred to by the \u2018k\u201d word with all its connotations, who a mere 24 years ago were liberated from centuries of enslavement, colonisation and subjugation and oppression,\u201d he said.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
