Brighton Ngoma On Why He Didn\u2019t Speak At His Friend Dumi\u2019s Memorial! <\/strong>While Dumi Masilela\u2019s industry friends dominated his memorial service, Scandal actor Brighton Ngoma who was also good friends with Dumi took a step back and now he\u2019s sharing why.<\/p>\n Ngoma said it became too much for him and \u201cpolitical\u201d so he decided to not speak despite being on the programme.<\/p>\n \u201cI was on the programme but I didn\u2019t speak because I couldn\u2019t. At the time I didn\u2019t understand the impact he had on his community and I didn\u2019t appreciate that it was such a huge media thing and that people were going up on stage and speaking, and it became sort of political thing. I didn\u2019t want to be a part of that so I decided to just be there and pay my respects in my own way,\u201d he told TshisaLIVE.<\/p>\n He admmitted that it took Dumi\u2019s death for to realize how much of a great friend he had.<\/p>\n \u201cI hadn\u2019t realised what a powerful friend I had when he was alive. I almost took it for granted. He was very spiritual and a deep thinker. He was younger than me but he was like my uncle.
