Thando Thabethe Quits Radio After 11 Years! Thando Thabethe is hanging up her mic and it looks like it\u2019s for good. After landing her dream job hosting a prime time show on 5FM, Thando is saying peace out to radio altogether. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Thando took to social media announcing her departure from 5FM and radio. \u201cAnd so, I\u2019ve dropped the mic \u2026after 6 years at 5FM and 11 years in radio, this is it. Hardest day of my life\u2026but most beautiful! Thank you to everyone that has been instrumental in my career thus far\u2026 Mostly thank you to everyone that\u2019s listened to my show, thank you for your company, your time and all the love and support you\u2019ve shown me, I\u2019m nothing without you\u201d<\/em>, she shared. <\/p>\n

Thando plans to focus on her first love, acting. She spoke to Channel 24 about her plans saying, \u201cI start shooting Housekeepers season 2 on Friday, and we\u2019re broadening horizons into the world in that sphere.\u201d <\/em>Thando\u2019s final radio show will be on the 5th of March, this coming Thursday. <\/p>\n
