The supermodel and TV personality has welcomed a baby boy into the world via surrogate.<\/p>\n
Tyra took to Instagram and social media pages to share that her and her boyfriend of two years, photographer Erik Asla, are now parents to little York Banks Asla.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so excited for our new baby boy bundle of joy,\u201d Tyra shares in a statement.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe journey to now has not been an easy process, as I\u2019ve shared before. But there was a beautiful bright light at the end of the tunnel for me and his father, Erik.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAs I gaze into the beautiful eyes of my son, I think about all the people who struggle with fertility or carrying a child and continue to pray for them every day. My hopes and dreams are filled with well wishes that they get to feel what my little treasure, York Banks Asla, feels like in my arms,\u201d she continues.<\/p>\n
The supermodel goes on to share that her and Asla had been trying to have a family together and eventually they had undergone in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment after struggling to conceive the natural way.<\/p>\n
She also took to Instagram to share the exciting news with the cutest caption, \u201cThe best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here. He\u2019s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik\u2019s mouth and chin.<\/p>\n
