Beyonce And Her Mother Pay Tribute To Mary Twala. She may be gone but her legacy will live on forever. Mama Mary Twala\u2019s last acting gig was on Beyonce\u2019s recent film \u2018Black Is King\u2019 and the American award winning singer together with her \u2018momager\u2019, Tina Knowles paid their last respects.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tina Knowles took to Instagram to honour the legacy of Mary Twala who played the role of Rafiki on \u2018Black Is King\u2019, expressing that it was a true blessing to work with her on the film.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeyonce shared the sad news about this wonderful legend Mary Tesla , who played the elder in the film ( Rafiki) that she had passed on\u201d<\/em> Tina said.<\/p>\n

Knowles shared that is was her daughter Beyonce, who shared the news of Mary\u2019s passing also referencing a quote from the film which resonated with Twala and her legacy.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is very interesting that in the film the poetry says \u201cthe elders are tired\u201d May she REST In Eternal Peace\u201d<\/em> Knowles wrote.<\/p>\n
