DJ Zinhle Defends New Female DJ\u2019s From Critics Undermining Their Talent. The DJ-ing industry was once male dominated with the likes of DJ Fresh, Oskido, Euphonik and more however, in more recent times we have seen more female DJ\u2019s come out on top. DJ Zinhle who has now become a well known name thanks to the multiple hits she has under her name, is one of the many female DJ\u2019s who have successfully become mainstream and has inspired more women to take on the turn tables.<\/strong><\/p>\n More young women are becoming DJ\u2019s on social media and almost every influencer has jumped on the trend. A social media user pointed out an observation with this new trend, which left a bad taste in Zinhle\u2019s mouth. According to the tweep, becoming a DJ has nothing to do with talent and is all about the looks. According to the social media users as long as one is visually appealing and has sexy dance moves to accompany, nobody really cares about the mixing.<\/p>\n DJ Zinhle interjected the critic in defence of all the new upcoming female DJ\u2019s, claiming that the new faces are actually quite refreshing and delightful to see. She added how sad it is that others belittle their talents to just being attractive and she quite frankly thinks the opposite of this. The mother of two shared how happy she is to see females taking on the industry and making it their own<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cSo sad that you chose to reduce the growth of the female DJ industry to this\u2026 I definitely don\u2019t agree with you. I\u2019m actually loving how the girls are making it their own and dominating. Surely there\u2019s something to celebrate here<\/em>\u201d she said.<\/p>\n New female DJs who are fast becoming trailblazer\u2019s include Lamiez Holworthy,\u00a0 DBN Gogo, Thuli Phongolo, TxC and more recently Uncle Waffles who has been making waves over the past few days. DJ Zinhle also played a hand in the DJ-ing industry with her DJ-ing school, Fuse Academy. The school opened in 2009 but unfortunately shutdown a decade later reportedly due to logistical issues.<\/p>\n
