Jo-Anne Reyneke On How She Knew Her Relationship With Thami Mngqolo Had To End! <\/strong>The actress and actor announced their breakup to the public back in May saying there was no bad blood between them.<\/p>\n In a recent interview on Metro FM, Jo-Anne opened up about her breakup with her kids\u2019 father saying they were still friends and co-parenting well.<\/p>\n \u201cBecause he is a great guy it\u2019s very easy to be a co-parent with him. He\u2019s a wonderful guy, a great dad, a good friend to me; he still thinks I\u2019m funny, just that as partners it wasn\u2019t working anymore. Whenever you get to feel in a relationship like \u2018maybe I deserve more\u2019 or \u2018maybe I\u2019m not what you deserve\u2019 it\u2019s time to part,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n On how she knew it was time to let go of the relationship, Jo-Anne said, \u201cMaybe half a year ago, because you wanna talk yourself out of and then you hear the relationship advice that every relationship goes through \u2013 it\u2019s ups and downs so you\u2019re like \u2018maybe this is our down\u2019 but then you\u2019re like no dog, no dog, I can\u2019t, I must want to come home after work\u2026 And then also, let\u2019s be happy for our kids, our kids deserve happy parents.\u201d<\/p>\n She also shared that the breakup felt like mourning.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was like a death in your life because you no longer have someone who\u2019s checking up on you, who\u2019s thinking for you more than they think for themselves. Now it\u2019s just you by yourself thinking for these kids.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p><\/div>\n <\/p><\/div>\n
