On Tuesday morning, Witness A continued with explosive testimony, saying that Transnet tender documents were found at Katiso Molefe’s home. <\/p>\n
Witness A outlined how investigations were compromised in a bid to ensure that suspects in connection with the murder of engineer Armand Swart were cleared of the charges.<\/p>\n
Testifying from a safe house under tight security, Witness A, an investigator closely linked to the case, delivered allegations implicating underworld figure Katiso \u201cKT\u201d Molefe and senior police officials in obstructing justice.<\/p>\n
The witness unveiled a chilling web of corruption, cover-ups, and organised crime tied to the fatal shooting of Swart \u2014 now confirmed as a case of mistaken identity.<\/p>\n

Swart was gunned down in Vereeniging on April 17, 2024. Investigators now believe the hit was intended for someone else linked to whistleblowing within Transnet.<\/p>\n
Swart\u2019s employer, Q Tech, had reportedly drawn unwanted attention from criminal networks embedded in state structures.<\/p>\n
Digital evidence presented to the commission revealed that Molefe made a 119-second phone call to Johannesburg Central SAPS detective Michael Pule Tau on April 12 \u2014 just five days before the murder.<\/p>\n
Tau returned the call and visited Molefe’s residence shortly after. Hours later, Molefe sent Tau a WhatsApp message naming “Q Tech” \u2014 allegedly sealing Swart\u2019s fate.<\/p>\n
But the corruption ran deeper.<\/p>\n
Witness A alleged that high-ranking National Organised Crime Unit officer, General Richard Shibiri, told investigators that \u201cthree envelopes\u201d were available \u2014 bribes meant for the magistrate, prosecutor, and police investigators \u2014 to ensure bail for Molefe and others.<\/p>\n
The revelations suggest Swart\u2019s death is linked to a broader criminal cartel working to silence whistleblowers and manipulate the justice system.<\/p>\n
