As a result, the airport\u2019s hourly aircraft movement capacity has surged from 120 to 148 flights.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"baobab-embedded-image\" src=\"https:\/\/image-prod.iol.co.za\/resize\/650x65000?source=https:\/\/iol-prod.appspot.com\/image\/744540d4367550c98076e3546822c358c21c7d15\/5120\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"650\"><figcaption>iGA Istanbul Airport board members and Turkish Airlines members. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span>The system promises to streamline passenger travel experiences, ultimately allowing travellers to have smoother connections to various destinations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>South African travellers heading to Europe, America or the Middle East stand to benefit from this development through smoother connections, reduced delays and shorter&nbsp;<\/span><span>travel<\/span><span> times via Turkish Airlines, which includes direct flights from Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban to Istanbul.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&nbsp;A live demonstration underscored the system\u2019s potential, with three aircraft taking off concurrently, setting a new benchmark within the aviation sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"baobab-embedded-image\" src=\"https:\/\/image-prod.iol.co.za\/resize\/650x65000?source=https:\/\/iol-prod.appspot.com\/image\/e67f51b04d717344e769d7c859d1f0518bb97e30\/5328\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"650\"><figcaption>Aviation members watched as the three aircrafts took off simultaneously during live operations. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span>&#8220;This is more than a technical achievement, it&#8217;s a statement of T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s role in shaping the future of global air&nbsp;travel.
