Sabelo\u00a0Mtshali, commonly known as DJ\u00a0Sabby\u00a0was born in Durban in 1990. At the age<\/p>\n

of 14, he fell in love with radio and kicked off his career through Love Life\u2019s Radio Y\u2019s<\/p>\n

programme. Currently, he is widely known for his afternoon drive show, \u2018The Best Thing<\/p>\n

Ever\u2019 where his depth of knowledge on the South African Music scene and urban youth<\/p>\n

culture has helped solidify him as a voice of the local scenes.<\/p>\n

He earned his qualifications in Radio Production from the National Electronic Media<\/p>\n

Institute of South Africa (NEMISA) and soon racked up invaluable experience by<\/p>\n

working the night shift on various commercial radio stations such as 94.7 Highveld<\/p>\n

Radio before joining the Y Academy in 2010 which has catapulted his radio career.<\/p>\n

As a club DJ he has also been a driving force and supporter of local nightlife and will be<\/p>\n

bringing this expertise in judging the King of the Decks competition.<\/p>\n

DBN\u00a0Gogo<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

DBN\u00a0Gogo\u00a0has been a familiar name at parties across the country for the last few years. Originally from Durban, DBN\u00a0Gogo\u00a0is known to her friends and family as\u00a0MandisaRadebe. She has spent most of her life living in Pretoria before moving to France for a few years, which she credits for her diverse taste in music.<\/p>\n

DBN\u00a0Gogo\u00a0is known for her signature blend of commercial and underground house music that is high-energy and keeps the\u00a0dancefloors\u00a0filled.<\/p>\n

DJ\u00a0Oskido<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n

Oscar\u00a0Mdlongwa, popularly known as\u00a0Oskida\u00a0is a household name when it comes to the\u00a0Kwaito\u00a0genre and was a true pioneer in the rise of subsequent dance and house genres. He is also the co-founder of\u00a0KalawaJazmee\u00a0Records (formerly\u00a0Kalawa\u00a0Records), a record label which houses musical acts like\u00a0Mafikizolo\u00a0and\u00a0Uhuru.<\/p>\n

After volunteering to perform once the resident DJ at a club failed to show us in the late 1980s, he soon became a prominent fixture and used this newfound platform to accelerate his success.<\/p>\n

Under the Brothers of Peace band,\u00a0Oskido\u00a0released and produced eight albums between 1994 and 2004 before he went on to partner with Don\u00a0Laka\u00a0and Christos\u00a0Katsaitis\u00a0to found\u00a0Kalawa\u00a0Records.<\/p>\n

Oskido\u00a0also released and produced many widely acclaimed albums under the Brothers of Peace band before partnering up with Don\u00a0Laka\u00a0and Christos\u00a0Katsaitisto create\u00a0Kalawa\u00a0Records.<\/p>\n
