Police have commenced an investigation of the death of Nelli Tembe, the fianc\u00e9e of South African rapper AKA, at the five-star Pepperclub Hotel in central Cape Town.<\/h2>\n

AKA\u2019s manager, Phumza Nohashe, confirmed the death and said the Forbes and Tembe families would release a statement soon.<\/p>\n

Witnesses at the scene described hearing shouting and a \u201cloud doof\u201d sound, and said they had heard a man calling security and crying.<\/p>\n

Western Cape SA Police Service\u00a0media spokesperson \u00a0Capt Frederick Van Wyk said crime-scene experts were at the scene this morning.<\/p>\n

\u201cCape Town Central police are investigating an inquest case after an incident at a hotel this morning at about 7.45am on the corners of Loop and Bloem streets, Cape Town CBD, where the body of a 22-year-old woman was found deceased,\u201d the police said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst said paramedics were also at the scene.<\/p>\n

Close relative of the musician has revealed that he is inconsolable at the moment.<\/p>\n
