Lockdown\u2019s Linda Sebezo Opens Up About Her Time In Prison!<\/strong> The veteran actress recently won the Golden Horn Award for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Comedy, Lockdown.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe the star does the role justice because back in 2008 she spend three months in prison for a crime she didn\u2019t commit. Sebenzo recently opened up about her time behind bars and how it affected her.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The actress\u00a0was arrested in 2008\u00a0at her Cleveland home in Johannesburg for possession of Mandrax worth R5-million. She recently told Move magazine that the time she spent in prison was a \u201cdark time\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cHeh. It was a dark time. I was in Sun City Maximum Prison\u00a0 (Johannesburg Correctional Centre) for three months,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what depression is. I have never let my life be destroyed by circumstances. I decided long ago to live my life the best way I want to and that\u2019s what I am doing\u201d<\/p>\n
