Mshoza Opens Up About Her Own Struggles With Alcohol! Mshoza recently tweeted that she wanted to have a sit down with Babes Wodumo and Zahara following their recent publicized troubles. <\/strong><\/p>\n This is probably because Mshoza has been around for a while and most importantly has gone through it all. The singer recently opened up about her own struggle with alcohol after Lebo Mathosa\u2019s death saying she didn\u2019t care about her future.<\/p>\n Mshoza added that before she knew it, she had to have tons of alcohol in her house and lots of people, all the time. She didn\u2019t want to be alone and we would drink all the time. She admitted that it was her ex husband who made her see that she had alcohol problems. And now she wants the younger stars to know they are not alone. Sometimes you need someone to help you admit that you have an addiction. Luckily, Mshoza\u2019s ex husband was able to get through to her, but not everyone will have someone looking out for them like that. That\u2019s why some people look to rehab centers, like Pacific Ridge for example, to try and help them overcome their addiction and live a happier life. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cIt got so bad\u2026 to a point where I would have R500 and no electricity and I would choose to buy alcohol with that money and drink in the dark rather than be \u2018stressed\u2019 the whole day. I would wake up and only think of alcohol. My day wouldn\u2019t seem exciting until there was a plan in place that involved drinking alcohol,\u201d she told TshisaLIVE. <\/p>\n \u201cHonestly, I only realised what was happening after I got married to Jacob, because he was strict and would ask me, \u2018why are you just drinking randomly?\u2019 He made me realise that I had not dealt with a lot of things \u2013 like Lebo\u2019s death and many other things \u2013 and told me to confront that instead of always drinking,\u201d Mshoza added.<\/p>\n I had my own downs in life and I turned to alcohol as a solution. I am talking about bottles and bottles a day. Look at me I am here today. I survived and overcome heavy drinking. We can, You can and It can get better in the morning.
