Last week mzansi actress Enhle Mbali threatened to spill the beans in her tumultuous relationship with her estranged ex-husband, Black Coffee, but her recent tweet suggests she is barred from doing so because of a gag order.<\/h2>\n

In a cryptic Twitter post, Enhle asked whether is it legally safe to talk about an issue even if you have signed a non-disclosure agreement about the particular problem. She wanted to know if it is okay to address the \u2018threats\u2019 received, which remind you that you are gagged.<\/p>\n

A follower responded by saying, it is acceptable if most of the occurrences took place after the NDA was signed. \u201cYes you can talk about threats since they happened after NDA (it\u2019s not a lifetime contract) and also you never signed not to talk about threats\u2026NDA is like a gag order (an intimidation so victims will not speak up) But abusers continue to abuse or worse kill, SPEAK YOUR TRUTH,\u201d the follower responded.<\/p>\n

Another said, \u201cNDA\u2019s (or other contracts) generally cannot be enforced if they protect an illegal activity or if the \u201cconfidential information\u201d is defined too broadly. The wording in the NDA (particularly the Disclosing Purpose and Duration) is a very important consideration.\u201d<\/p>\n
